Belleville MI, January 17, 2019 – The National High School Athletic Coaches Association the professional organization of school coaches and athletic directors, (NHSACA) has selected the following individual’s as one of eight national finalists in their sport for Coach of the Year recognition.

Each 8 finalists will be honored, and the Coach of the Year will be selected and presented during the NHSACA Annual Conference June 22nd-27th, 2019 at the Ramkota, in Bismarck, North Dakota, where over 500 coaches and athletic directors will participate.

Congratulations to all the MHSCA finalist, and their sports association which they represent. The selection and nomination for this awards comes from your sport association and through the Michigan High School Coaches Association.

The NHSACA selection of the Michigan finalist reflects positively upon your school and your community. Nominee’s selections has been based on the performance of their programs over the years and/or their contribution to the sport, school, and community. These were some of the criteria to determine your selection. It is indeed an honor to have been selected as one of the eight finalists for NHSACA in your sport from the entire nation of nominees.

The NHSACA is a – 54-year-old association with nearly 335,000 members serving as athletic administrators, and all levels as coaches in numerous high schools and junior/middle highs throughout the United States. Partnered with the Michigan High School Coaches Association, the NHSACA works to promote the educational value of interscholastic athletics and the role of athletic administrators and coaches. The NHSACA and MHSCA are very proud to spotlight The Michigan coaches– whose work and values best mirror those of the association.

To all finalist, this is the first of four communications you will be receiving via email and hard mail. Within the coming weeks and months we will share details of the NHSACA conventions, registration process, press releases, MHSCA convention gatherings, and how to obtain a stipend from the MHSCA to assist in representing Michigan.
