The MIAAA Executive Board has come to one of the toughest decisions it has ever had to make in our history. As of 4 pm today, we are canceling the 2020 MIAAA Annual Conference at the Grand Traverse Resort, in Traverse City. Refunds will be made to the schools, unless you contact Karen Leinaar at karenleinaar@gmail.com with a different recipient.

The Grand Traverse Resort will cancel all rooms connected with the MIAAA conference. For decades, the GTR has had a strong partnership with the MIAAA. If you would still like to relax and want to travel to Traverse City -- you may contact the Grand Traverse Resort and book a room during this conference time at the MIAAA posted rates.

As all of you are aware, the Coronavirus - COVID19 is causing a number of changes in our life as we know it - the MIAAA continues to support our membership and schools in the best way we can.

We anticipate the MIAAA providing more information going forward as to best respond to this situation. At this time, please continue to follow all guidelines that are being shared by the MHSAA, your County Health Department and our State and National Government agencies.
